Description

The Bingo Hall is a unique and exciting project that has the potential to make a significant contribution to the Decentraland ecosystem. We believe that our project deserves funding because it offers a fun and accessible gaming experience that appeals to a wide audience, while also enhancing the social and cultural fabric of the platform. One of the key problems that our project will solve is the lack of engaging and accessible gaming experiences in Decentraland. Many of the current games and activities in Decentraland are geared towards more experienced users, and can be difficult for newcomers to understand and enjoy. By bringing the classic game of Bingo to Decentraland, we aim to offer a gaming experience that is easy to understand, fun to play, and has the potential to attract a large and diverse user base. In addition to providing a fun and engaging gaming experience, our project will also bring several benefits to the Decentraland platform. First, it will contribute to the growth and development of the Decentraland economy by generating revenue through ticket sales, partnerships, and other monetization strategies. Second, it will enhance the social and cultural experience of the platform by providing a space where users can come together, meet new people, and enjoy a shared gaming experience. Finally, it will help to establish Decentraland as a platform that offers a wide range of accessible and engaging gaming experiences, which will attract new users and contribute to the long-term success and sustainability of the platform. In summary, the Bingo Hall is a unique and exciting project that deserves funding because it offers a fun and accessible gaming experience, solves a key problem in the Decentraland ecosystem, and brings several benefits to the platform. We believe that our team has the skills and experience necessary to deliver a high-quality product that will make a positive contribution to the Decentraland community and ecosystem. Hey, it's good to see that your team includes a prior service vet. I'm currently still serving in the military, and it's great to see more military vets/personnel entering this space. I suggest that you roll out a proof of concept and develop a minimum viable product (MVP) to showcase to the community. This space has exceptional talent, and I highly recommend seeking out some DCL natives who could potentially assist you with this project. In addition, I suggest you consider hosting some events to build rapport with the community, and showcase the MVP when it's ready. I think this will have potential for sure, but following these recommendations I believe will enhance your chances of having your grant approved in the future. Best of luck!

Thank you for the feedback. I am currently working on it. If this proposal fails then i will resubmit with more progress.

I'll be voting no. Personally I prefer that you are able to show a working version of what you intend to get a grant for, and then deploy and allow the community to decide whether it is fun enough to fund its progress.

Also, the budget breakdown does not include land. The roadmap does to give a timeframe of this project once approved.

Thank you for the feedback. Sorry, I deleted the old one. But I have already bought the land which is the parcel provided. I decided to started off a bit smaller and work on most of the development myself to bring down the cost. I gave an estimated price to be on the safe side. In the old one I wanted to buy 6 parcels of land but this time I have bought 1 parcel myself and began working on it. I hope this answers your questions.

Can you please link us to your original proposal? I can't seem to find it. When proposals are edited and resubmitted, it's helpful to let users find the original to see what has been changed. I would like to see how you planned to spend the funds in the original, compared to now. Your first grant was asking for $200,000.00 and now you are asking for $50,000.00 to develop the same game. I'm curious what you cut from your budget to make this possible. I also see that you still have "Land Acquisition" in your new proposal, but you also say you are developing at -142, -121. Was this part of the first proposal? I'll be voting no for now because I can't compare anything to your original proposal, but once you have the link I'm going to look over both and will change my vote if it seems appropriate. Canessa
