Are Polls a good way of drawing Community attention to a topic ?
Proposal Details
Description
One of the issues I see here, is that barely anyone is appraised of initiatives from anyone else, until the motions are actually started. And before most of us have a chance to form an idea on the subject at hand, the time to vote already draws near. And I wonder just how many large VP holders _don't even know_ about the conversations and decisions which take place in this space ! I am hoping the results of this poll will bring some clarity in this domain.
Voting Rationale
Yes, as well as Forum Posts.
DAO is a Joke at this stage & outsiders observing what's going on can tell how incompetent we are Close the DAO & let foundation run it all.
Do I win a prize?

I think it's ok if polls have attention and I think people should see these as just opinion polls rather than serious governance proposals. But I think it would be better if we can do polls without a "governance" aspect. Just the forum implementing poll feature.
Polls are a great way to discuss a topic, but it shouldn't be through governance. Lots of discussions happen through the Forum and Discord channels. Canny is also a great way to bring an issue to the forefront.
Polls populate in the discord channel driving engagement.
Polls is the main thing for VP.. I'm still traumatized by some rando calling it "Voting Participation"
