Description
According to the following discussions we had at the DCL DAO: Regenesis Summit [Summary](https://forum.decentraland.org/t/dcl-dao-regenesis-summit-summary/22961), [the result ](https://decentraland.org/governance/proposal/?id=1aee1cf5-52b6-4008-a729-15466c693e65) of the kickstart governance process, and the feedback gathered on the [RFC - "Deprecation of the Current Decentraland DAO Grants program and Bidding and Tendering process" Draft Proposal](https://forum.decentraland.org/t/rfc-deprecation-of-the-current-decentraland-dao-grants-program-and-bidding-and-tendering-process-draft-proposal/23029), this proposal calls for the deprecation of the current Grants Program and Bidding and Tendering process within the Decentraland DAO to create a more effective, strategically aligned funding model. Upon approval, both programs will be frozen, with no new proposals accepted. Active projects will continue under the supervision of the Grant Support Squad, and the Revocations Committee will be dissolved. Historical data on funding will remain accessible. Deprecating these programs is critical for addressing inefficiencies and ensuring future funding aligns with Decentraland’s long-term vision. A concurrent proposal for a new funding model is also under consideration, aimed at enhancing transparency and resource allocation.

Oh, I didn't think anything actually nefarious had occurred. I just know that that community is looking for any reason it can find to be upset about "centraland" and the coming changes. Which for the record, I think are all for the best or at the very least being attempted in good faith by people who have nothing but good intentions. But most people would rather assume a secret cabal is attempting to cheat than to make the logical assumption that Snapshot or the Reporting bot had an easily explained bug. Sorry if my first post did not make that clear. If building in web3 was easy Apple and Microsoft would already be here centralizing everything anyway :smiley:
@BET @jar0d @web3nit @Vaporizador When the proposal ended, Snapshot API was down and returned an outdated count on the vote calculation. That's why there was a discrepancy between our front end and the final Snapshot result. As Lean said, Snapshot is the source of truth in terms of outcomes, our team just ran the calculation again when we detected the error. I don't know what happened with the Governance page, but what happened in snapshots is what matters: https://snapshot.org/#/snapshot.dcl.eth/proposal/0xd4a8315a9eb598774f48b00bb3039a547150ee74cb34bb91babcec27d9a01bce (you can download the csv with each vote). I guess there was an issue while processing the snapshot data, and they got wrong info and then Governance people fixed it.
