Introduce a Minimum Offer Threshold for Marketplace Sellers
Proposal Details
Description
I propose that the Decentraland Marketplace introduce an option for sellers to set a minimum offer price for their listed items. Currently, sellers can receive offers on their Marketplace items without being able to establish a minimum threshold. This can result in sellers receiving a large number of extremely low-value offers that are unlikely to be accepted Problem I have recently noticed increased activity from new users making very low-ball offers on Marketplace items. While offers are an important part of the Marketplace and can create opportunities for buyers and sellers, receiving offers that are significantly below a seller's expected price can create unnecessary noise. For users who have email notifications enabled, each of these offers generates an email notification. While notifications can presumably be turned off, doing so creates another problem: sellers may miss a legitimate offer or a genuine opportunity to sell an item The issue is therefore not simply the number of notifications. It is the lack of a mechanism for sellers to establish a reasonable minimum threshold for offers Proposed Solution Introduce a Minimum Offer Price setting for Marketplace sellers When listing an item, or potentially after listing it, the seller would be able to specify the lowest offer they are willing to consider/accept For example: A seller lists an item for 1,000 MANA The seller sets a minimum offer threshold of 750 MANA Offers below 750 MANA would either be prevented from being submitted or would not trigger an offer notification to the seller Offers at or above 750 MANA would be treated as valid offers and would notify the seller normally The exact implementation could be determined by the Foundation (Regensis Labs) and community upon further discussion
Voting Rationale
Well overdue IMHO

That is one option. Percentage based is a good avenue to explore, eliminating the seller to adjust prices for each listed item.
Agreed, although I would suggest a default 50% of asking price as lowest bid. Otherwise, the buyer will be able to guess what your lowest acceptable offer is by trial and error and offer that.
Here's an example. I received 24 mana bid on a 24 parcel estate.
