Description

One of the **key drivers for metaverse adoption** is the incentivization of users to **enter virtual worlds and spend time in them**. To achieve this, it is necessary to create interactive experiences that **increase traffic and help onboarding the masses** to ***Decentraland***. **Espacio Creador’s main premise is to create new opportunities** for artists through the convergence of art and technology and the development of multiverse experiences that leverage Decentraland, NFTs, VR and AR to take the next step towards the real adoption of Web 3.0. The **pilot for the project** will be a **phygital event** taking place in Decentraland, the website of Espacio Creador (https://escreador.wtf), as well as in real life at Simonette Boutique in Bogota, Colombia (https://simonetteboutique.com/). The event will have live Djs (both in real live and in the metaverse), live street art/VR performance from renowned Colombian artists such as Ceroker https://www.instagram.com/ceroker/, Tres Manos Studio https://www.instagram.com/atresmanosestudio/, and the launch of a wearable collection by Kaftan https://kaftan.com.co/. **The Espacio Creador is conceived as a space for co-creation and promotion of creative disciplines**, covering the areas of design, technology, fashion, plastic- , visual- , sound- , interactive arts and new media. It aims to **enable environments where these areas converge, allowing experimentation and creation**. These environments will be focused on strengthening the culture and art of developing cultures as well as their recognition both locally and internationally. In addition to this, **Espacio Creador aims to strengthen the art industry through the creation of innovative diffusion channels which allow new ways to perceive and consume culture.** To this end, the creative space offers a series of environments and channels, both digital and physical, which together form an ecosystem of extended interaction, with the intention of covering a wide range of artistic intentions. The Espacio Creador will take three main channels into consideration to allow the interaction between creators, enthusiasts and art buyers: - Metaverse= 1. Decentraland - Digital Realm= 1. Dapps 2. Virtual Reality 3. Augmented Reality 4. RRSS - Physical Realm= 1. Galleries 2. Events 3. Performances 4. Print media Regarding the metaverse diffusion channel we chose Decentraland because of its advanced state of development, thriving community, real decentralised character and huge upside potential.

Hi Yemel! Thank you for your comment. The total budget will be allocated on the side event (4k) and the development of DCL gallery in DCL (8k). Our side event will be focused on the creation of interactive and seamless experiences to increase adoption across Bogota.

Hi Canessa! Happy to be sharing the same spirit to bring metaverse and web3 opportunities to the Latin-American ecosystem. To address in a concrete manner your questions regarding grant funds allocation, please find below the info: 1. Development of EsCreador building: USD 8K (Dev Team) 2. IRL event + marketing: USD 4k (DJ, location, promotion, marketing campaign, ads on social media platforms, food, beverages) 3. EsCreador Team: USD 0 (The operational/supporting team will not perceive any compensation) 4. Street artists: USD 0 (Street artists will perform without any direct charge to the grant funds. We have arranged to convert their performance into an NFT listed on OpenSea and deployed on the Espacio Creador Gallery in DCL.) For the development of the EsCreador building in DCL, we have defined with the Dev Team of MetaGameHub DAO (MGH) a gallery with the following specifications: 1. 3 DCL parcels 2. 4 3D/sculpture show spaces with external exposition 3. 1 3D fashion/wearables show space with external exposition 4. 2 videos/images show spaces with external exposition (8 canvas min.) 5. 1 videos/images/stream/event show space with external exposition (2 canvas min.) 6. meeting rooftop space 7. total height: 40 meters max. We have already started our efforts to build community across our various social networks https://www.instagram.com/espacio.creador/ and https://twitter.com/espaciocreador. Regarding twitter spaces, the idea is to start with multiple twitters spaces (2-3) three weeks before the launch event, to engage across our community and drive a stronger brand positioning and remembrance. Those twitter spaces will point to the Espacio Creador event.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to write this proposal. I really want to vote an automatic "yes" because I would love to see more opportunities to bring Web3 and the Metaverse to Latin America. I'm glad to see that you have already secured land, and that this grant is not going to cover land acquisition. Can you help us learn more about your grant? You say you're going to use the funds to pay development costs for your build, could you possibly break it down further to give close approximations of what this will cost? Also I see you have an extensive personnel list, are they being paid through the funds of this grant as well? Will the funds of this grant be paying any artists at your irl event, such as the live DJ's, street performers, etc? Have you already started your Twitter Spaces?
