Description

The Decentraland marketplace currently does not offer any type of auctioning. Auctions are a great price discovery tool for rarer items, ensuring sellers get the best market price. GBM Auctions is an incentivized auction mechanism where bidders make money when they are outbid- it’s a battle-tested product with over 70,000 auctions completed and over $200m in bidding volume. We believe the outcome of adding GBM will mean more activity on the marketplace, both for the buy and sell side and also better sales prices – all while members get a more rewarding experience earning $MANA.

Hey OG, I have found that changes that are required by the foundation seem to work best when the community votes in favor of the change via a Poll. If the community agrees with the suggestion then submitting through Canny has been working really well. I submitted " [Add search bar to find emotes (decentraland.org)](https://decentraland.org/governance/proposal/?id=0254da03-b74f-488a-85ee-a84ad0d521de) and then submitted through Canny and it now the request is considered "in progress". With your Poll: [Should streaming in Decentraland be made easier?](https://decentraland.org/governance/proposal/?id=b7d98dd4-84ab-4c23-96f3-31b4177b615a) It seems like this can follow the same process and as long as there isn't a DAO financial request then you may be good by submitting through Canny: [Decentraland Feedback (canny.io)](https://decentraland.canny.io/) Hope it helps, Jenn

Oh ok. I will change it up wanted to make sure this wasn't a double submit. Thanks. Hey Jen should I do the next steps on the making streaming easier poll that passed then? Where is the documentation on bid / tender stuff? Is that the best route for make streaming easier?

Hi OG, We are in the third stage of a three-stage process. ### Poll: Gather community input on important matters through a non-binding proposal to kickstart the Governance process. ### Draft Present a potential policy to the community in a structured format and formalize the discussion about the proposal’s potential impacts and implementation pathways. ### Governance Proposal Finalize the decision-making process in a binding proposal by submitting a comprehensive proposal with all relevant details for implementation. There has been discussion around whether this type of request needs to go through this three-stage process but for now it seems to be the way to get something like this through the system.
