First of all I want to thank the Foundation for hearing the concerns and needs of the creator community and acting rapidly to rework the previously approved Governance proposal. Thank you also for not enforcing the standard 3 step process of approval to take action. I truly believe this prevented many of our most talented designers and creators from abandoning the space. Second, as one of the largest private investors of layer 2 wearables currently in the ecosystem, I appreciate the fact that you have taken into consideration the costs associated with perpetually hosting my precious and beloved assets. I would be devastated to log in one day to learn that I can no longer wear my items because of a lack of funding due to poor planning and increased expenses. Or even worse, **see DCL disappear altogether.** Finally, I want to thank you for considering the compensation of our curators whose job can be extremely difficult at times. Dealing with inexperienced contributors who may not be as savvy with blender or the terminology associated with 3D modeling can be time consuming and most likely frustrating at times. I've never once seen a single curator lose their temper or express anything other than the utmost professionalism when dealing with these and other sensitive topics. (Including but not limited to changes in the allowed types of wearables being published) In every aspect of their job, they are protecting the integrity of the wearables marketplace and our community. **They deserve to be compensated at a rate that is equal to their hard work and dedication.** I will personally reach out to my friends and community members in general and try to rally the masses together to get this restructured proposal passed as I feel you have reached a perfect common ground that is both fair and appropriate for everyone involved. **The only regret I have is that I don't have more VP to personally make a difference.** Thank you @yemel, the foundation, and anyone else involved for this fantastic proposal. And to those of you in the community who read this comment, I urge you to vote yes. At the risk of sounding dramatic, the future of our wearables market and perhaps our entire virtual world may depend on unity on issues such as this. Bravo team.
