Description

With the new gas-less bids & listings feature in dcl marketplace I'm now seeing more offers being placed on land/estates The only problem is there are only two options; accept or archive.I would like to know if we can implement a counter bid/offer option for the seller. If feasible perhaps implement it across all marketplace assets inc, emotes, names, wearables. Already raised in Canny https://decentraland.canny.io/marketplace/p/marketplace-counter-bid-option With the new upcoming Marketplace Credits/Rewards program I believe this feature is going to further increase & boost much needed activity within DCL

It's annoying not being able to counter offer, where every other NFT trading platform has this feature built-in from the get go.

Yes. It's a good measure to help sellers maintain a higher price for their LANDs by not so easily accepting a lower offer.

This prop is a waste of time, as the dao has no say over what the foundation does This prop should be a Canny request, and as @DedHeadJ pointed out, she already did, and it has been commented on by Yemel and other Foundation staff, and is in the backlog. However, as noted by the foundation team member, this simply isn't a high-impact action item and probably won't get added until after more must-have features are. Voting on this proposal is little more than a waste of time.

Hi, I raised this in October 2023, and it was marked "under review" in January 2024. Not sure how long it takes for the foundation to move this along, but I still support this initiative. https://decentraland.canny.io/marketplace/p/add-a-counteroffer-option

Since implementing this proposal requires the Foundation's intervention, I don't think it will be implemented. I'll still vote Yes to give it a say. The marketplace interface should be improved, in addition to implementing features that could be very useful. I understand that DCL isn't in the best position to dedicate resources to this, but if things improve, I'm convinced the team behind it will do their best work.
